PAROV AND THE PRINCESS
In preparation for their forthcoming Princess Tour, Parov Stelar shares with us a bit of the sound and the energy which makes this Electro-Swing Austrian band one of our office favourites and our clear choice to add energy and soul to the day. Their sound ranges from ultra loungy numbers like “Psychedelic Jazz” from the 2004 album Rough Cuts to a brilliantly modern 1930′s swing beat mixed with quirky techno ho-down vibes. Parov Stelar have composed and collaborated with over 700 various lounge compliations like Buddha Bar and Hotel Costes, yet their most recent claim to fame was providing the retro groove of “Booty Swing” to one of the Cosmopolitan Hotel’s “Just the Right Amount of Wrong” advertising campaigns.
The Princess Tour will be hitting London on May 31st with several other appearances in Germany, Austria, and the already filled-to-the-brim Cabaret Sauvage engagement for Paris and will mark the release of their latest album, The Princess, which is scheduled for release this April.
